Research Call: IJSC journal publishing ethical leadership special issue
The Page Center is partnering with the International Journal of Strategic Communication in an upcoming special issue titled "Innovation in ethical leadership: New frontiers of strategic management of complex issues and multi-stakeholder communications." Scholars are encouraged to submit manuscripts for original research that examines the role of ethical leadership in today’s rapidly evolving media, business and policy landscape. Submissions should emphasize strategic approaches to managing issues, risks, conflicts and crises with insight and integrity.
Guest editing the special issue are Taylor Voges, Big Valley Marketing; Holly Overton, Page Center research director; and Yan Jin, director of the Crisis Communication Think Tank at the University of Georgia, The editors encourage manuscripts that investigate ethical leadership that emphasizes the importance of strategic management of issues, risks, conflicts and crises in a complex and fast-evolving media, business and policy environment.
This special issue aims to advance both theoretical and practical understanding of how ethical leadership and strategic management can effectively guide organizations through complex and “sticky” crises. It will explore how these approaches shape and inform strategic communication efforts with diverse, multidimensional and critical stakeholder groups.
