Free webinar to highlight strategies for building engaged and connected workplaces

The free webinar “Beyond ‘soft skills:’ How emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and listening strengthen employee engagement,” will bring together Page Center scholars and practitioners to explore how emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and listening can help create more engagement and connected workplaces. The speakers will highlight practical takeaways for leaders and communication professionals and discuss how scholar/practitioner collaboration can generate evidence-based insights and better practices for building emotionally intelligent, mindful, and listening-centered workplaces.

Event Highlights:

• Key insights on how leaders set the tone by modeling good practices of emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and listening.
• Presentation of insights from two case studies and a national survey of 1,159 U.S. employees.
• Introducing formal programming ideas, such as wellness initiatives and employees’ self-practice, to support overall employee well-being.
